PUT IT IN GOD’S HANDS
But as a popular saying goes: let go and let God. This tells us that trusting God requires abandonment. We need to let go of our expectations and everything that’s holding us back from Him. 6 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. 7 And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours]. Phil. 4:6-7
There are things that only God can do and He wants us to Trust in Him. 4 So shalt thou find Favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Prov. 3:4-6. The hymn writer wrote: “Whatever you need, my God’s got it.” God promised to supply ALL of your need, not from man’s supply, but from His Unlimited Immeasurable supply of riches and wealth far beyond your understanding. Paul said: 19 But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:19.
Sometimes we ask God for something but he gives us another. Does that mean he doesn’t listen to our prayers? No. It just means that he has better plans for us. 7 “Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. Matt. 7:7. When you lift your problems up to Him, you must also be willing to offer yourself to Him. This includes everything that you are and everything that you have as well as all your plans, hopes, and dreams.
For everyone who keeps on asking receives, and he ho keeps on seeking finds, and to him who keeps on knocking, it will be opened.
