FAITH OF GOD WITHOUT STRUGGLING
Many of us today say we have Faith. We pray for it, we seek it and even struggle in our spiritual lives for such faith. When we pray and things don’t happen, we begin to doubt and become discouraged. The Bible teaches us that: Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. 14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Rom. 10:14, 17
Are we believing in and hearing what the Word of God is saying. God wants to take us to the level of Faith that represents that God like Faith as Mark reveals unto us: 22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, have Faith in God. Mark 11:22. We have struggled in ourselves trying to develop such things as the gifts of the Spirit, faith, love, joy, peace…all these characteristics. But our basic spiritual struggle is for the real faith. 21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. 22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Matt. 21:21-22
There is no merit or ability or gift which we possess by our own struggling. That is one thing God will never allow. The struggle to have faith has caused untold stress and perplexity in the lives of people who have not received answers to their prayers. God never intended His people to struggle for Faith. Faith is not the product of human struggling. No. Faith, like Love, comes Only from God. We need not struggle or fight to receive them or to perfect them.
I AM the Vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit, for without Me ye can do nothing.
REMINDER: FAITH OF GOD WITHOUT STRUGGLING!!!!
