ARE YOU WITH HIM OR ARE YOU AGAINST HIM
The Pharisees were trying to discredit Him by using an emotional argument…by accusing Him of doing miracles and casting out spirits and demons in association with Satan. Refusing to believe that Jesus came from God. Jesus easily exposed the foolishness of their argument. (24 But the Pharisees heard it and said, “This man casts out demons only by [the help of] Beelzebul (Satan) the prince of the demons.” Matt. 12:24). How many times have we refused to acknowledge Jesus in our lives, when something happened, and you are ashamed to tell someone Who He is?” 13 This is the reason I speak to the crowds in parables: because while [having the power of] seeing they do not see, and while [having the power of] hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand and grasp [spiritual things]. Matt. 13:13
Jesus gave up the complete and unlimited use of His supernatural abilities to come on our behalf. But He still had profound insight into human nature. His discernment stopped the religious leaders’ attempts to trick Him. The Resurrected Christ knows all our thoughts. He knows any selfish motives. (25 Knowing their thoughts Jesus said to them, “Any kingdom that is divided against itself is being laid waste; and no city or house divided against itself will [continue to] stand. Matt. 12:25). “Jesus is Omniscient (all knowing)” “Are you with Jesus or against Him?” 14 Do not be unequally bound together with unbelievers [do not make mismatched alliances with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 2 Cor. 6:14
It is impossible to be neutral (one foot in and one foot out) about Christ. Anyone who is not actively following (running after) Him has chosen to reject (refuse to accept) Him. Any person who tries to remain neutral in the struggle (fight) of good against evil is choosing to be separated from God, Who alone is good. To refuse to follow Christ is to choose to be on Satan’s team. (30 He who is not with Me [once and for all on My side] is against Me; and he who does not [unequivocally] gather with Me scatters. Matt. 12:30) “If you are not with Him then you are against Him”
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon [money, possessions, fame, status, or whatever is valued more than the Lord].
REMINDER: ARE YOU WITH HIM OR ARE YOU AGAINST HIM!!!!
