ARE YOU THANKFUL THAT GOD FOUGHT THE BATTLE

The Apostle Peter described a blow-by-blow account of these spiritual battles and their outcomes:

Because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

~1 Peter 5:8b-11

The battle is NOT yours. 15 And He said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 2 Chron. 20:15. After the battle is won, you can expect Satan to try to reclaim lost territory by attacking you in three vital areas: your mind, your emotions, and your will. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Tim. 1:7

However, the moment you choose to stand and resist, you establish a turning point in the war. No longer are you merely Satan’s pawn to push around. You are someone to contend with.

13 Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]. 14 So stand firm and hold your ground, having tightened the wide band of truth (personal integrity, moral courage) around your waist and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (an upright heart).

~Ephesians 6:13-14 AMP

Until you win your personal battles against fear and any other demon spirits, you’re in no shape to get into the real war. Don’t be deceived. Wars are made up of many battles. Remember that Satan is the father of lies. Soon after the victory, he will try to tell you that you were never delivered in the first place. He will try to deceive you by counterfeiting your past symptoms of fear. He will most certainly try to attempt you with the easy way out the next time fear comes along. What do you do? Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7

REMINDER: ARE YOU THANKFUL THAT GOD FOUGHT THE BATTLE!!!!

Love you and the Blessings of God be upon you.
